JUDY GILMER CLASS: ACRYCLIC MASQUERADING AS WATERCOLOR!
Monday - June 23rd - 10:00 - 3:30 - $65.00
- Learn how to use acrylic paints like watercolor. Yep - it can be done.
- Achieve the delicate surface that makes water color so popular.
- I will help you paint flowers with acrylic paints and in the afternoon you will learn how to step by step, create an abstract version of what you painted in the morning.
- Enjoy a fun pathway for your artistic creations using acrylics in a brand new way and take both of your creations home.

NEW KIERA LIGHT CLASS: CANVAS COLLISION!
Tuesday - June 24th - 10:00 12:30 - $65.00
- Kiera will show you step by step how to create a gorgeous abstract on canvas using various mediums for a unique effect.
- Using distressed oxide sprays, molding paste - crackle and a bit of luminescent watercolor, you will discover just how creative you are and walk away with not one but TWO completed canvases.
- Kiera will help you create an underwater coral fan design (or something close to it) suitable for framing for your home.
- We supply all materials, so just bring yourself and join in for a fun and inspiring art session.

SOGGY SUNFLOWERS
Monday - June 30th - 10:00 12:30 - $50.00
- Using the wet on wet technique and some negative painting plus salt, you will learn how to create 1 to 3 "soggy sunflowers"! :0)
- I will show you how to paint this impressionistic floral using a bit of pencil to lightly draw the shapes and creating dimension and roundness using color ans layering.
- I supply all materials, so just bring yourself and join in for a fun and inspiring art session.

"'TWAS THE MOUSE BEFORE CHRISTMAS..."
Monday & Tuesday - July 7th & 8th - 9:30 - 2:30 - $110.00 2 DAY CLASS
- It's that time - a new Christmas card from Twigshire! ( I've posted this wee mouse just to fill the space and will put up the actual one as soon as I've created him/her!)
- I will show you how to paint this wee Christmas/holiday creature one step at a time so you end up with a unique and personalized card to send to friends and family.
- For those who celebrate other than Christmas you can for sure tweak the painting to suit, as we have done many times before.
- Day 1 will be focused on the drawing and inking and if we can get to it - actually begin the painting process.
- Day 2 will be the painting which will allow for you all to finish in class where I can help you as needed.
- This is a long two days so bring a light lunch and I will provide the carbs, coffee and bottled water.

JUDY GILMER CLASS - FACELIFT WITH A TWIST!
Monday - July 21st - 10:00 - 3:30 - $60.00

- If you've ever painted a piece that just did NOT work out - and still have it because...well... just maybe you hoped you could salvage it - never fear Judy Gilmer is here!
- Judy will show you how to create a completely new painting - with a twist! Learn a fun way to repurpose your painting into something you might never have thought of.
- Works on paper are especially good for this class but we can also use an old canvas. Bring a couple of pieces if you have more than one.
- If you don't have a "what do I do with this painting" painting, then just bring your paints and we will create a fun twist on the usual.
- Bring paint, brushes, water containers, scissors, glue or gel medium, a piece of foam core or a mat board and get ready to have fun!
This is a long class so bring a light lunch or you can order from Cafe Evergreen or Cap't Eddies.

PETALS AND SALT
Tuesday - July 22nd - 10:00 - 12:30 - $50.00
BACK BY POPULAR REQUEST
- Create a fun, impressionistic floral using watercolor, frisket (not too much) and salt.
- This is a great class for those without much painting experience or those who want to loosen up a bit.
- You will learn how to create a floral by using pencil and ink to draw your image and then paint using the wet on wet technique.
- I will then show you how to create some fabulous effects by using salt. Once your painting is completely dry, you remove the salt and frisket and voila!
- We supply all materials, including a mat, so just bring yourself and join us for a fun morning.
