- Herald in Autumn with this fun Pumpkin People and Gourd Guy painting.
- In this class I will take you step by step in creating 1 or 2 pumpkin people and a gourd "guy"
- This is a fun spin on my Fall Bounty floral class for those wanting a bit of whimsy to either frame or to make as cards for Thanksgiving. This would be good as a Thanksgiving invitation for family and friends.
- We will pencil sketch, then ink and then paint so this is a good class for honing your drawing and inking skills, as well as wet on wet and wet on dry water coloring techniques.
** For those with Rapidograph pens, please bring them making sure they are in working order.**

Basic Watercolor Class
Tuesday - November 10th - 10:00 -12:30 - $45.00
- No talent? Not true!
- Come and learn step by step how to create a fun, impressionistic floral even if you have never drawn or used a paint brush.
- We will begin by practicing a few water color techniques so we can get used to observing how the paint moves with the water and how you are very much in control of where the paint goes believe it or not!
- Then you will "draw" your piece without a pencil, and we will build it up a layer at a time until you have the finished product!

3D Blooming Flowers!
Tuesday -November 10th - 3:00 -6:00pm - $65.00
- Using molding paste on canvas as a base, let Kiera show you how to create this wonderful 3D floral canvas.
- Once the molding paste has set up and hardened, Kiera will take you step by step, showing you how to 'sculpt' your blossoms, then using distressed oxide paints you will choose colors to paint them.
- Using some 3D embellishments such as beads, sparkle and more, you will walk away with a canvas ready to frame and hang.

Mini Trees

- This is a fun class to practice your blending techniques and color restraint, as we use a limited color palette.
- This is mostly a wet on wet painting on a small scale so we will be doing 2 so you can create a framed pairing as a diptych in one frame or separately.

Potted Cats

For Cat Lovers Everywhere!
- Come create some feline fur balls to hang in any room where you could use a grin at a glance!
- I will take you step by step, building these critters from basic shapes in pencil, then ink line drawing - then painting and show you how to build your own personality packed kitties
- If you have your own Rapidograph pens please bring them making sure they are in good working condition, otherwise I have the disposable pens we usually work with.
- You can choose to do just one or all three but you will be creating your own version of this. We will use this piece and a couple of others to give you references to help with ideas on how to compose - then the cat building is up to you!

Festive Poinsettia

- This class is a bit of a challenge and requires some experience manipulating water color.
- I will take you step by step from pencil, to ink line drawing - to building up the textures of the leaves and petals of the poinsettia using multiple washes - lifting - blending - layering.
- If you have your own Rapidograph pens please bring them making sure they are in good working condition, otherwise I have the disposable pens we usually work with.
- We will also be using some Chinese metallic for splatter, and a bit of gold sparkle on the balls to complete the festive look of the piece.
- All materials included.
This is a longer than normal class so bring a light lunch or snack.

Salty Sunflowers

***This class is suitable for beginners***
- Using the wet on wet technique I will show you how to create this bright textural floral
- Step by step I will demo how to lightly sketch it with pencil first - then we layer using the wet on wet watercolor technique - building layers and depth with a limited color palette.
- Once we have completed the flowers we will paint in the background and then add salt for a fun and textured background.

Christmas Star

***This class is suitable for beginners***
- Learn how to draw this fun fellow from basic shapes and create your own version, dressing him in a bow tie, or a hat or whatever you want.
- If you want to add a dreidle, or a Hanukkah star or any other decoration for whatever is your celebration of choice.
- I will show you how to do that so your painting is uniquely yours.
- Once we have completed the inking I will show you how to build layers of water color washes to create roundness and depth.
- Then you can take it to be scanned so you can create your own holiday card - or frame it for the house during the season.
