- This Happy Holiday Star is perfect for anyone wanting to try their hand at cartooning.
- Even if you feel your drawing skills are a bit rusty, let me take you step by step so you can build your own Twinkler!
- Once the basic character is drawn I will help you "dress" him or her however you'd like. With a string of lights, a dreidel, or an ornament, a bow tie or even a Santa hat if you want.
- I will take you step by step in drawing, inking and then painting your piece which you can then go get scanned and printed into cards if you want to.
- This is a longer than usual class as there is some detail in the actual painting, so bring a light lunch or snack and I will provide water, carbs and coffee.

Awesome Acrylics - Open Studio with Judy Gilmer

- Open Studio is a great time to get help you may want with any issue you may be experiencing, including color mixing, composition, how to use your brushes for best results and much more.
- Beginner to experienced welcome.
- Don’t know what to paint…. No worries!
- What: Start a new painting, get help finishing one, have a chat about art and styles with others while creating. Painting meets Social!
- Come for both the opportunity to paint, learn and the chance to meet other artists and enjoy friendships.
- Bring your materials: paper,canvas, etc. Paint, brushes, paper towel or rags and a water container. If you have pencils, markers, crayons, pastels etc, any tools to add mark-making to your piece.

- Come in for a few hours - bring your unfinished work, or aspects of watercolor you are struggling with and I will help in whatever way you would like.

TOTALLY HUGE TULIP
Monday July 6th - 10:00 - 12:30 - $50.00
- Come and paint this very big single tulip in large format and shake out those creative cobwebs!
- We will be creating this without pencil drawing, but free handing with frisket.
- This is a great exercise in allowing the white space to help create the drama in this bright, happy floral.
- I will take you step by step so you walk away with a painting you can be proud of that's ready for matting and framing.
- We will also use salt and some spray bottles to achieve a soft diffused background.

Marvelous Mah-jongg Mala necklace
Thursday July 9th 10:30 - 1:30 - $55.00
- All you Mah-jongg lovers out there! Now is your chance to create your own good luck signature necklace with Erene!
- Increase your good fortune when you gather with your friends to play this oh so popular game.
- Erene will take you step by step in creating your necklace using glass, gemstone and vintage beads. There is a lot of hands on teaching in this class and it will probably run about 3 hours.
- She will teach you the art of hand knotting and you will finish off your piece with a vintage Mah-jongg tile and take it home in a lovely hand made bag.

Basic Blooms - Watercolor for Beginners
Tuesday July 14th - 10:00 -12:30 - $45.00
- Come have fun and learn, step by step how to create a loose impressionistic floral - even if you have never drawn or painted with watercolor before.
- The first 15 minutes we will practice a few basic techniques that you will incorporate in painting your floral.
- This is a great class for relaxing, loosening up and seeing how therapeutic it is to paint outside the lines!
- You will leave with a completed piece and a mat to finish it off, ready for framing.

Santa Moon - Again!

- By request I am running another Santa Moon class for those wanting to create their own unique Christmas cards - and get them scanned and printed well before the holidays.
- I will take you step by step through the building of this Santa from basic shapes, then filling out the features until your own personality shines through on this character!
- If you are not intending to make it into a card and want to frame this as a Christmas piece for your home - I will have lots of shiny bling and embellishments to make him/her shine.

- Come and build your own fabulous fishy, step by step.
- I will show you how to create this gal from basic shapes and then you can outfit her however you want. Pearls, earrings, handbag - bows and eyelashes.
- Because you won't be tracing or copying, but learning how to build your own - each student's results will be totally unique.
- Carmen looks great in a bathroom, or office or hallway... anywhere you need a smile to sneak up on you when you enter into a room! ( And you can name your fish whatever you want...maybe it's Carl and not Carmen!)

Fantasy Flowers & Branches

- This class was requested by some students who wanted to learn how to poke their imagination into creating some of my "fantasy flowers"
- Throughout my illustrated books I have "imagined" into being some pretty wild flora - so I will help you all do the same, while you put your own whimsical spin on your creations.
