- Well here we go again! By popular demand I am going to start the Christmas character classes early so you can go get them scanned and printed up for your holiday card giving. (There will be other Christmas character classes throughout the summer and fall so you can add to your card giving stash.)
- This Santa Moon is especially great for beginners who are just starting out drawing and playing with watercolor.
- I will take you step by step, showing you how to build this bloke from basic shapes, then you can dress him/her up as you choose to make it truly your own.

13 Techniques - Watercolor Cheat Sheet!
Wednesday - June 17th - 10:00- 12:30 - $45.00
- If you would like to learn or review some basic watercolor techniques, you will enjoy this practical exercise class.
- We will create a "grid" of 13 different techniques that you can take home with you and use as a cheat sheet to help you when you are practicing at home.
- Once completed you will select 3 or 4 from your grid and create a simple painting using the techniques you chose.
- It's a great way to immediately apply what you have just learned . Then when practicing on your own you will have already had the experience in class of how it all works.

LILY OF THE VALLEY

- This simple drawing and impressionistic watercolor of a spray of pink Lily of the Valley is a fun exercise in staying loose but also focused.
- We will lightly sketch in the first, then ever so gently ink the stems, leaves and flowers.
- Using a limited color palette we will use a combo of wet on wet and wet on dry to complete this happy painting.
- You might even like to get it scanned and create your own prints to send out as mini work of art cards.

Whimsical Christmas Words
Monday - June 22nd -9:30 - 3:30 - $65.00
- Whimsical words make wonderful gifts. (The image to the right is not Christmas or Holiday themed (I have yet to paint one), but it gives you the idea of where we are headed!
- These little 6X6 frames, all sparkly and bright are the perfect setting for creating special personalized words or letters on watercolor paper to give as gifts or to just set around the house.
- I will take you step by step in drawing, inking and then painting your piece which we will finish off with some fun bling on the painting and also along the frame itself.
- Create your painting using a child's name, or initials, or words such as Joy, Snow, Peace, Ho-Ho-Ho...the list is endless.
- This is a longer than usual class as there is a lot of detail in the actual painting, so bring a light lunch or snack and I will provide water, carbs and coffee.
