5 BEAUTIFUL TREES - (3D Watercolor)
Monday April 7th - 10:00 - 1:00 - $55.00
This is a favorite class as it involves various techniques, yet it is pretty loose and freeing.
- Create a row of trees dressed in golds and orange, green hues and purples, using pencil, molding paste and spatula knives and sponge rollers.
- Oh and of course...frisket!
- In this class, I will show you, step by step, how to draw these trees and build up the foliage with some fun texture techniques, then wet on wet watercolor.
- I supply all materials including a mat so all you'll need is a frame to hang your creation!
- You are free to create 1 to 5 trees ( 3 is a nice number!) however many you are most comfortable doing.

BASIC WATERCOLOR FOR BEGINNERS

- For those of you who have never drawn or painted or feel you have no talent to create - this class is for you!
- I will show you, step by step, how to work with just a few techniques that put you in the driver's seat and in charge of the paint!
- I supply all materials including a mat so all you'll need is a frame to hang your creation!
- If you enjoy the experience and think you might like to paint at home, what you learn in this class will give you some basics to have fun practicing.

- Regardless of what medium you are using - texture is a great way to add interest, depth and dimension to your art piece.
- I will teach you how to use various different mediums to create implied and actual texture.

SANTA MOON - Yes, already.
Monday May 5th - 9:30 - 1:30 - $60.00
Santa Moon
- I have had requests to start early on Christmas themed characters for those going back up north for the summer. If you want to create your own cards for friends and family then sign up now!
- I will teach you how build this quarter Santa Moon - or the 2nd version - a full moon Santa with chubby cheeks and a big grin - step by step using basic simple shapes.
- You will draw, ink and then paint your Moon Santa creating whatever accessories you desire. Santa hat, big bow tie, Christmas ornaments hanging off the end.. you choose and I'll help.
- These character classes are longer than usual and run anywhere from 4 to 6 hours - so bring a snack and I'll supply the bottled water, coffee and carbs.
